polynomial function(word problems with solution)

Hey guys! Guess what, I was down with fever last week, and have missed a few classes because of that. Now that our mid-semester are due next week I really need some help in topics like polynomial function(word problems with solution) and some other topics like long division, triangle similarity and powers. I was thinking on hiring some private tutor but then my pocket money won’t allow me to do so. I really need some immediate help in those topics, else I might perform really badly in my mid-semester . Can anyone give some advice? I need some help, and I need it FAST!

I remember having problems with leading coefficient, rational equations and matrices. Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several math classes - Algebra 2, Pre Algebra and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear.
