I've always wanted to excel in purplemath, it seems like there's a lot that can be done with it that I can't do otherwise. I've searched the internet for some good learning tools , and checked the local library for some books, but all the information seems to be targeted at people who already understand the subject. Is there any resource that can help new students as well?

Algebrator is the latest hot favourite of purplemath students. I know a couple of teachers who actually ask their students to use a copy of this software at their home.

I might be able to help if you can send more details regarding your problems. Alternatively you may also try Algebrator which is a great piece of software that helps to solve math questions . It explains everything thoroughly and makes the topics seem very easy. I must say that it is indeed worth every single penny.
