converting base 10 to base 8

I'm getting really bored in my math class. It's converting base 10 to base 8, but we're covering higher grade syllabus . The concepts are really complicated and that’s why I usually sleep in the class. I like the subject and don’t want to fail , but I have a big problem understanding it. Can someone guide me?

Hey. I think I can help you out. Can you elaborate some more on what your problems are? What exactly are your troubles with converting base 10 to base 8? I found out a some software programs that are relevant . I checked them out . The Algebrator seemed to be the best suited one for equation properties, roots and midpoint of a line. It was also easy to operate . It took me step by step towards the solution rather than just giving the solution. That way I got to learn how to solve the problems too. By the time I was done with it , I had learnt how to crack the problems. I found them valuable for College Algebra, College Algebra and Basic Math which aided me in my math classes. May be, this is just what you want . Why not try this out?
