multiplying with fractional exponents

Greetings everyone! I have a serious issue about algebra and I was hoping that someone might be able to help me out a little . I have a math test in a few weeks and even though I have been studying math seriously, there are still a few parts that cause a lot of headache , such as multiplying with fractional exponents and multiplying matrices especially. Last week I had a class with a math teacher, but many things still remain unclear to me. Can you suggest a good method of studying or a good tutor that you know already?

What exactly don't you understand about multiplying with fractional exponents? I remember having problem with the same thing in Remedial Algebra, so I might be able to give you some ideas on how to approach such problems. However if you want help with algebra on a long term basis, then you should buy Algebrator, that's what I did in my Algebra 2, and I have to say it's amazing ! It's much cheaper than a tutor and you can work with it anytime you feel like. It's very easy to use it , even if you never ever had a similar program. I would advise you to get it as soon as you can and forget about getting a algebra tutor . You won't regret it!
