solving inequalities using multiplication and division

Holla guys and gals! Recently I hired a math tutor to help me with some topics in math . My problem areas included topics such as solving inequalities using multiplication and division and trigonometric functions. Now that instructor turned out to be so dumb , that instead of helping me now I’m even more confused than I earlier was . I still can’t crack problems on those topics. And the exam time is nearing. I need someone to help me out. Is there anything in particular that can be done to get some sort of help? I have a fairly large set of questions to help me learn these topics, but the problem is I just can’t crack them, no matter how much effort I put in. Please help!

The perspective you’ve adopted towards the solving inequalities using multiplication and division is not the a good one. I do understand that one can’t really think of anything else in such a situation. Its nice that you still want to try. My key to successful equation solving is Algebrator I would advise you to give it a try at least once.

Algebrator is very useful, but please never use it for copy pasting solutions. Use it as a guide to understand and clear your concepts only.

I remember having problems with hypotenuse-leg similarity, function range and radical equations. Algebrator is a really great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several math classes - Basic Math, College Algebra and Remedial Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
