Holla guys and gals! Recently I hired a private tutor to help me with some topics in math . My problem areas included topics such as change decimal to fraction and long division. Now that instructor turned out to be so dumb , that instead of helping me now I’m even more confused than I earlier was . I still can’t crack problems on those topics. And the exam time is nearing. I need someone to help me out. Is there anything significant that can be done to get some sort of help? I have a fairly large set of questions to help me learn these topics, but the problem is I just can’t crack them, no matter how much I try . Please help!

What exactly don't you understand about change decimal to fraction? I recall having difficulty with the same thing in Remedial Algebra, so I might be able to give you some suggestions on how to handle such problems. However if you want help with algebra on a long term basis, then you should try out Algebrator, that's what I did in my Pre Algebra, and I have to say it's the best ! It's less costly than a private teacher and you can work with it anytime you want . It's very easy to use it , even if you never ever used a similar program. Algebrator did help my son to have high grades in Math .
