grade 11 math games

I'm getting really bored in my math class. It's grade 11 math games, but we're covering higher grade syllabus . The concepts are really complicated and that’s why I usually doze off in the class. I like the subject and don’t want to fail , but I have a real problem understanding it. Can someone guide me?
