how to calculate a cubed root by hand

Holla guys and gals! Recently I hired a math tutor to guide me with some topics in algebra. My problem areas included topics such as how to calculate a cubed root by hand and point-slope. Now that teacher turned out to be so dumb , that instead of helping me now I’m even more confused than I used to be. I still can’t solve problems on those topics. And the exam time is nearing. I need someone to help me out. Is there anything in particular that can be done to get some sort of help? I have a fairly large set of questions to help me learn these topics, but the problem is I just can’t crack them, no matter how much effort I put in. Please help!

I have been in your situation some time agowhen I was learning how to calculate a cubed root by hand. What part of least common denominator and roots poses more difficulties? Because I am sure that what you really need is a good software to help you figure out the basic concepts and ways of solving the exercises. Did you ever use a program like that? I have tried a few but I have to say that Algebrator is the best and the easiest to use. It's not like those other programs because it teaches you how to think , it doesn't just give you the solutions.

A great piece of math software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar problems while solving absolute values, evaluating formulas and trigonometry. Just by typing in the problem from homework and clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework would be ready.
