Heya guys! Is anyone here familiar with yr 8 revision for maths? I have this set of problems about it that I just can’t figure it out . We were assigned to solve it and know how we came up with the solution. Our Math teacher will select random people to solve the problem as well as explain it to class so I need thorough explanation regarding yr 8 revision for maths. I tried solving some of the questions but I think I got it completely wrong . Please help me because it’s a bit urgent and the due date is close already and I haven’t yet understood how to solve this.

What exactly don't you understand about yr 8 revision for maths? I remember having difficulty with the same thing in Algebra 1, so I might be able to give you some suggestions on how to approach such problems. However if you want help with math on a long term basis, then you should try out Algebrator, that's what I did in my Basic Math, and I have to say it's amazing ! It's less expensive than a tutor and you can use it anytime you feel like. It's not hard to use it, even if you never ever tried a similar program. I would advise you to purchase it as soon as you can and forget about getting a algebra tutor . You won't regret it!

I would just add a note to what has been posted above. Algebrator no doubt is the best tool one could have. Always use it as a guide and a means to learn and never to cheat.

I remember having difficulties with mixed numbers, triangle similarity and subtracting fractions. Algebrator is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several math classes - Algebra 1, Basic Math and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.

Hello again. Thanks a lot for the beneficial advice. I normally never trust math programs; however, this piece of software seems worth trying. Can I get a link to it?

This one is actually quite different. I am recommending it only after trying it myself. You can find the information about the software at https://emathtutoring.com/solution-to-some-problems-in-math-301-chapter-11.html.
