I've always wanted to excel in how to convert from decimel to rational numbers on matlab, it seems like there's a lot that can be done with it that I can't do otherwise. I've browsed the internet for some useful learning tools , and consulted the local library for some books, but all the information seems to be targeted at people who already understand the subject. Is there any resource that can help new students as well?

I remember having often faced difficulties with y-intercept, distance of points and equivalent fractions. A truly great piece of algebra program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem homework a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many algebra classes – Basic Math, Pre Algebra and Algebra 1. I greatly recommend the program.
